Milkify is a mission-driven startup dedicated to supporting breastfeeding mothers by providing innovative breast milk storage solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and compassionate individual to join our breast milk processing team in Houston, Texas.

Role Description

This is an hourly role with around 6 hours per day, Monday - Friday, with some flexibility on start and end time.

As a Breast Milk Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in our freeze-drying operation. This hands-on position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work in a sterile environment. Key responsibilities include:

·      Packaging freeze-dried breast milk

·      Conducting post-freeze-drying packaging and quality control checks

·      Preparing and labeling breast milk packaging

·      Maintaining a clean and organized work area

·      Updating schedules and spreadsheets

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications

·      Extremely reliable with a high degree of integrity and conscientiousness

·      Strong work ethic and commitment to quality

·      Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions

·      Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

·      Alignment with our mission to support breastfeeding mothers

·      Prior experience in food processing or preparation is welcome, but not required

·      Proficiency in Google Sheets is beneficial

Requirements:

·      Availability to work 30 hours per week at our facility in Houston, TX

·      Willingness to obtain a Texas Food Handler's Permit (at company's expense)

·      Ability to occasionally lift boxes weighing up to 25 lbs

Hours: Part-time - 30 hours per week (flexible hours available)
